Alex Meldem is a busy man. He joined Flyability in Switzerland to help them grow their business of using robotic drones to inspect complex infrastructure projects, keeping people safe and saving companies millions of dollars.
Fast forward a few years, Alex is in North America and continuing his work, part business development, part drone pilot and full-time passionate business person helping inspectors understand how their products do the dirty and dangerous work of inspecting capital and public infrastructure.
I asked Alex about which industries are keeping the company busy, it is typical of what you might think: nuclear, power generation, oil, and gas, grain bins, large tanks, shipping, mining, and sewers.
We talk about losing drones, piloting, training and robots as a service and the ROI of a drone, and the value it creates. We talk about the importance of safety. I certainly learned a lot and I think you will too.
If you would like to contact Alex, he is Alexandre on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/ajmeldem/ his company is Flyability USA.
